In order to keep up with this modern time and the recent global events, the evolution of the surgeon’s role in the management of patients with medical and surgical conditions has become necessary. New technologies to improve the diagnosis, management and treatment of these conditions and their complications have been developed. The knowledge regarding diagnosis, management and treatment has improved or changed. As part of our mission as the Puerto Rico Chapter of the American College of Surgeons we are committed to provide education to our surgical community to help them maintain an adequate competency. With that in mind, the program for the 2025 Scientific Meeting is an ambitious and comprehensive program tailored to cover a diverse range of topics to fulfill our community’s educational needs. Thru this meeting, our Chapter will be able to achieve one of our missions: Of being surgical educators within our community.
